I do have a strong feeling of annoyance and hostility. I know that living with these feelings isn’t healthy but I am going to allow myself today to let them simmer or boil, however they present. I know that being around people or places that generally annoy me isn’t a good idea so I took my bad mood self to my favorite lakeside spot and just sat. I read a bit, I listened to the waves, I took a few dips in the cool water. I knew it needed to happen. Just when I started to let go of my rage and ease into uneasiness I received the news that heavy metal musician Ozzy Osbourne had passed away.. Ozzy was the soundtrack to my bestie and I during our teenage years. She was who actually told me.. we laughed, we cried and when we were done I said to her “well that just frosts my cupcake of shit today.” Isn’t it always the universe’s way of saying “sure you got some stuff going on but there are others who have their own crap to deal with”
So RIP Ozzy.. Condolences to Sharon, Kelly, Aimee and Jack and their families.. I will release my anger and move on.. but I will never forget the tumult of feelings I had today.
